Do you know her name? Can you guess? Her name is Maria, she has two teenage sons, her husband is a very wealthy business man and she is a former journalist. His mistress is married woman having two sons? Is he not contented with his wide? What could be the possible factor why Sanford was in love with her?
Where did they met? Mark Sanford met Maria back in 2001 in New York and the two developed a friendship after she asked the politician some advice on saving her marriage. And the next is a more closer relationship that developed and went further?
The woman was named as Maria Belen Shapur, whe asked by reporters, she refused to talk when approached at her home in Buenos Aires, but the governor’s office doesn’t dispute the content of the emails, which date back a year or so.
